Most likely they will stick to TB, as they've stated during BG3 development they are considering TB games their strength nowadays, and prefer it rather than having to relearn their staff for other genres.
One of the 2 will probably be something in the original sin universe. It would be the smart thing to do after first having a massive success with DOS2 and then expanding their reknown massively with BG3...Now is the time to further their own IP.
The second, knowing Larian will most likely be a new IP they are gonna try to build up, probably also TB, but maybe something Sci-Fi to diversify? Just guessing here...
They seemed to have no further interest in working with licensed IPs any further, so I can't see them doing something like that.
ive most of this as well from other sources, i would love to see a sci-fi IP from them. I am still a little bummed we didnt get the Divinity tactics game they were making that got canceled.
Larian made Battletech and as far removed from Paradox as possible would be a huge win but what could possibly top RogueTech 2.2.1 ?
Also I hope it's not woke...
I wouldnt mind scifi rpg or post apo rpg oooor something like Tyranny where everyone is evil ( :
I wouldn't bet on that. You do know where their HQ is located?
But such does not bother me as long as they provide options to avoid it a lot. As they do in BG3. Those who want to engage in it, are free to do so. Options are a good thing, as long as there are good ones.
You mean player choice of pronouns, right?
I'll take that bet. 1K Steam points OK, or should we go higher?
All of the scifi cRPGs out there use weird rules and have balance problems and suffer from poorly attempted realism, etc etc. I would love to see a simplistic Cyberpunk or 40K style cRPG from them.
