1900+ hrs. What you have stated, does not apply to my experience. Sure, it's not flawless. But not near as bad as some like to claim.
Just an example: why does The Dark Urge screams in Act 1 'They will die for you, father!' when he doesn't know his past? Or how can he remember some 'recent scandal' in Baldur's Gate (Free the artist) or Duke Ravenguard? Why can't you confront Astarion about the Gur's abducted children in Act 1? Open doors and gates are still sometimes bugged, so you can't shoot enemies through them.
I'ts a good game, but does not live up to it's hype and I wonder how it got voted for GOTY. Did the voters actually play it completely?
