At least you got to act 3 :) i could never do it do to other reason more related to gameplay.
Second thing being I do not care if the strong genders are male or female this is a fantasy with goblins and dragons I can stretch my disbelief in thinking women are as equally strong as men here, to me it is the story telling that matters. To this point the whole True Soul confused the hell out of me, like I felt my character was calling themselves "True Soul" out of the blue without any reference or context.
The whole True Soul plot cannot hold the candle in a million years to be a Child of Bhaal and how the gameplay perfectly matches that concept in its predecessors.
Good grief Gortash is the WORST character I have ever seen in a game, and I completely agree that he looks like out of a nock-off cheap disney, both in how he looks and how he talks.
So are they "annoying" (I mean, BTW, yes, Lae'Zel definitely IS, especially at first, she is a straight up Githyanki supremacist who views all Istiks as inferior species), or is at that you are annoyed that these two warriors you have just met are women?
I don't find that annoying. Lots of CRPGs have had women warriors. Shrug.
Yes, the narrator's name is a VA named Amelia Tyler, and she is a woman. So? Would you prefer the game to be narrated by Sir David Attenborough? What does it matter what gender the narrator is?
I agree with Sven. They are not.
Always confusing to me that people are angry because there are too many women.
Why as a man, would i want to look at a man?
This:
Is one of the funniest lines from one of these posts I've read. But also probably points both to how your question would get answered and hints at the actual underlying answer.
Yeah, if you're into traditional gender roles and have a problem with queer characters, this game isn't for you. I don't know why it took you so long to figure it out.
The thing you need to remember is that everyone always thinks their own values are neutral and apolitical. Larian's a bunch of people who think that it's normal to be uninterested in old-fashioned gender roles and that queerness is just fine. From where they sit you're the one getting political here.
