[Spoilers] What happens if you don't kill Auntie Ethel AND don't save Mayrina in Act 1?
Edit: I mainly want to know if doing this basically terminates the questline, as I quite enjoy Ethel's Act 3 presence. I'm not asking for someone to go out of their way to give me a detailed breakdown or anything like that.

I tried to find info on this, but came up a bit short. I know the Hag Survivors group doesn't form, but that's about it.

Basically, I am playing a Bhaalist Durge, and while taking Ethel's deal for her hair would be the evil thing to do, or simply taking both her hair and freeing Mayrina, it wouldn't feel right to leave something unmurdered.

But I am dying to know what would happen if you let Ethel leave with Mayrina in tow. Does she even show up in Act 3?

You can see her again in Act 3. No matter what you decide. Even if you kill her.

yayaya, I know about how she shows back up in Act 3 even if you kill her in Act 1. But that is under the context of saving another kid that she is trying to turn into a hag. So if you don't free Mayrina (and her unborn child), Ethel would presumably have no reason to be there...? And if she does show up anyway regardless, is Mayrina assumed to be dead, or what?

Wouldn't know. She is not worth the effort in Act 3 for me to even care. I killed her again there and my impression was..."well that was not worth it." Act 3 is cramped full of enough content as is.

Ah, gotcha, fair enough. Main reason I am asking is that if I do decide to go "full ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" and let Ethel take Mayrina, I don't want to miss out on what I saw as pretty fun content in Act 3! But if nothing changes anyway, then I might as well.

Thanks! That's what I was looking for. Wasn't sure if something else would happen, or there'd be some other twist, or what have you. Appreciate you.
