Gerringothe Thorm fight on Honor Mode
I know there are many ways to make this fight simple or to talk your way out. I wanted to experience the fight as if I had never played the game.

Sublimation and Jealous Avarice can be brutal. It's a fun fight if you just try and take it head on as if you did not know what was coming.

Shadowheart was Sublimated twice. My main had a Warding Bond with Shadowheart, and succeeded the DEX saving throw against Jealous Avarice and still took 67 Slashing Damage. With out Warding Bond and a failed DEX would have been 270.

Just be sure to leave all your gold in camp first. If somebody walks in to the fight with 10,000gp in their inventory, they are dogmeat.
Agreed, but you wouldn't know that if you were playing blind. Also, it turns out Sublimation is a CON save which most people don't think of as an important stat.

Pretty much every caster relies on CON saves for concentration. Seems unexpected to hear someone suggest that they don't think of it as being important.

First time fighting her, all she had to do was use Sublimate once and I sent all my Gold to camp. All it takes is read the combat log for you take away her strongest spell and then trivialize her from there.

If you have lightning fast reactions you could in theory pass the gold to another characters inventory before the hit.
Pushing her out of the window is just too easy every time

She cannot be pushed out the window on Honour mode.

I hadn't noticed. I always cheese the fight by pushing her on my tactician runs but Honor mode I fought her straight up and left all of my gold in camp. I remember her skeleton adds being the biggest issue.

Played blindly, pushed her off the balcony—profit and lulz from the fight, I guess. The dialogue option is just the faster one.

And you didn't do this on Honour mode, so moot point.

Did they changed something? I guess you can still push her from the balcony or you can’t from now?

Upd: Checked her passives, nope, you can still just push her via spell as a sorcerer or just blast her out as a warlock nothing much to prevent it, I guess 22/24 via drow potion STR Duergar/anyone with mighty cloth + Enlarge scroll/spell will also be able to push her via bonus action.

So I guess pushing someone off the balcony is the best option for a quick kill—pretty logical for a barbarian or sorcerer/warlock if the enemy is standing near the edge of something.

Sublimate is not sensitive to gold. It is a petrifying spell. Jealous Avarice is the one sensitive to Gold.

In Honor Mode when you kill a Visage that triggers Sublimation, but true killing them first is the best route. The CON save has a high DC too. I think it is 18, but I can't recall. Even with advantage shart failed twice.

I should have thought to use Basilisk Oil when she was hit.

After you've done quick kills over and over it gets pretty boring.
That's why I don't play straight honor mode anymore. You always want to take the easier route so you don't loose all that time. Custom honor mode rules and enhanced tactician is the way to go. You are more inclined to take risks .
