If you want to fight them you can poison them first by drugging their booze soup thing they're all drinking out of.
You could join them.
You could ignore them.
You can sneak around the entire time.
Etc, etc, etc. There's more ways but IDR them all.
The outside can be more difficult, but there are some great tactical places to fight from. You can kill the enemies all the way on top first, then fight most of the camp from some of the intermediate ledges with good cover. Dart out, shoot, dart back. Make the enemies run through nasty stuff like cloud of daggers or fire. If someone manages to get up to your party you can just push them down.
The bosses are harder, but mostly the same ideas apply.
It's hilarious watching some of them pace around their ally's dead body like nothing happened.
The only one you can't stealth kill and get away with is Dror Ragzlin. As soon as he's dead, the whole camp will aggro on you when you get near them.
I always save him for last
But you TECHNICALLY don't need to kill every single goblin. I'm just a murder hobo
