Hair Color Error?

Hey I remember my characters back in the day having accurate hair colors, what happened? My "Black" hair color is more like a medium grey, while my "Black/Brown" hair is an even lighter grey.

Are they looking to patch this? Good lord I hope so because I'm sick of not having proper hair tones in games and I don't recall this ever being a problem in the past.

[Edit] - Okay I found a weird glitch now too. I can't use the "highlight it black" trick that so many other games have because my character ends up with black tips and a PINK BEARD. What the hell did they do?

Maybe it's a video card problem or you have some gamma setting wrong or something? Because this seems like a "you problem".

• Drivers are updates as per usual.
• Video card is an AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT - never had this problem before.
• Gamma settings are fine? I think?

There's no way it's just me. The highlights even set my beard to "pink" when I'm on different colors. The install ain't busted either and it even over-wrote my old character that had actual black hair.

Corrupt files or breaking GPU ;P

Don´t listen to these guys, they haven´t a clue either why this happens and think when it it doesn´t happen to them it can´t be or something has to be broken on your side.

I have the same issue ever since I play this game. No corrupt files, no mods, no broken graphics card and it seems to be independent from the graphics driver too since I have updated my drivers multiple times during the time I played this game and this bug/glitch/whatever never disappeared. Other games don´t have this issue.

When I´m close the hair looks normal but when I zoom out brown becomes blond and black becomes grey ect. It´s weird but not a big issue for me personally.

Don´t get your hope up for a fix though. I doubt this is high on their priority list especially since it only seems to occur for some people and not everyone.

I think there's something different about how the game renders actors up close and from far away. Maybe this is glitched for some people. I've heard some modders warn to make sure a certain setting pertaining to this is set in a certain way, but unfortunately I cannot remember what this setting is. Maybe this will fix it? Hopefully this jogs someone's memory out there.
