Hag's Lair, Gnarled Door : CAN'T GET PAST IT

The gnarled door in the back of the Hag's lair won't let me in. I've put on the whispering mask by just clicking on it in inventory and thru the Equip option, no luck. I've already killed the Hag up in her tea house. Do the masks work after she's dead? Researched it a bit and found a reference to a "secret arcane check" at the gnarled door that I didn't get, a work-around via a hard to see ledge up and to the left of door that I can't locate after much poking around (misty step, Laezels jump ability) that's supposed to get you past the gnarled door. It's un-lock-pickable, no HP and unthrowable (who exactly is throwing doors around here?) I can see the other side with a portal and found the other ways into the Underdark just thought I'd check here (all posts I searched for here were old) before moving on. My completionist daemon is twitching to figure this out. Plz don't tell me each character has to wear the damned mask, maybe the one thing I've not tried yet. Btw I've seen year old vids and SCs of another "gnarled door" near the start of this area by the shield that sez " thief that now guards my lair" in Hag's voice but it's not there for me. Any help would be...helpful.

If I understood correctly which wall you are talking about, it took me some time to figure out. I tried everything but in the end, turning the camera and pressing behind it made me pass it.

Well you're dealing with a Hag here and there's evidence all around the room before the door. Try thinking outside the box for your solution.

Try thinking about how the Hag entered the door. I don't want to spoil it but i think someone might have already. Don't over complicate it
