Monk Way of the Four Elements i hope they buffed it well

From the last panel from hell, you can see that a level 4 monk has 5 ki points, and magic spells like Thunderwave cost 2 ki points. I mean that's the reason this subclass is the worst. And they tell us that they give some buffs to the monks, maybe they mean they give a lot of love only to the shadow monks. I hope I'm wrong.

They did say they buffed four elements, and monks as a whole
Monks martial arts dice for example seem to be one step higher than normal, and they get more/a stronger ki point growth.
