How would you make a Guts (Berserk) build?

I'm thinking a Fighter/Barb multi class but does anyone have any different ideas?

doing champ8/bers4 will allow you to get 4 feats instead of 3. 2 +2s, great weapon mastery and heavy armor mastery (or savage attacks, or tough)

Heavy armor effects rage though, right? So it'd be better for rage to wear medium armor.

I'm thinking I will take Great Weapon Fighting and Great Weapon Master as my feats.

you're right on that. i didn't think about it. 4 feats still better than 3 tho imo.

You may be right. I'm gonna have to wait until release to get a better idea for this build.

I think you already have the best two picks. Could depend on which era of Guts too. At a stretch, arguably Vengeance or Oathbreaker paladin could fit given their adversity to the unholy (fey, fiends and undead). And Dark Urge could work as an equivalent to the urges that Guts similarly has to endure.

25+ hours in, just starting act 2. I took one level in Barb for level 1 rage (and I love the Barbarian dialogue choices), and am currently Fighter (Champion)4/Barb 1.
So far I'm absolutely loving it. I miss the extra attack all my other pure class companions have atm, but otherwise he wrecks ♥♥♥♥. Only Karlach can match the physical damage output. He's been able to solo duel bosses with minimal support, which leaves the rest of my party to do clean up.
The slow leveling means the build won't come completely online for a good while now, I still got one more level in Fighter to get, for the extra attack, and then I can start leveling Barb again, which is what I really wanna do cause I wanna buff that rage.
