First DLC ? Should be Waterdeep
i heard there'S a dungeon under that city. Pretty sure the City council would have a task for us. Rumours about a Beholder? :P

How about

Piracy on the Sea of Stars. Go from the Dalelands to Thay and back again.....

That beholder nailed to the pub wall looked fresh. I think it's your kill. I bet there is already at least a small version of it in game.

I'm assuming you are talking about the Elfsong tavern. In which case it's not.

If we were to theoretically get another city with the modern BG3 treatment, my vote is for Sigil.
We can ask all about Waterdeep to Gale.
I'd like to visit Thay.

Heck, they need a forcefield around the city just to prevent DRAGONS from entering because that's a real and constant threat.
It is made to limit the strength of all dragins INSIDE the city itself. Because a lot of them live in the city. Including evil dragons. It will not be fun when a drunk dragon polymorphs into his true form and wreck half the quarter. And is made by their own help and with their concession. Guarding the city from unwanted dragons is their responsibilty, not that of a magic shield.

If they are going to do DLC, I'd personally like to see expanded character options like new races/subclasses. Goliath Rune Knight? Genasi Arcane Archer? Aasimar Way of the Sun Soul?

YES PLEASE!
FR universe is so deep and vast that we can go almost anywhere, i wonder if Larian will make even single dlc. I hope so as game is tremendous success.
I wanna see Athkatla from BG2 again.
Geez. Guys. Has noone here played Eye of the Beholder? Is it really THAT hard to pick up my reference to one of the best Dungeon Crawlers in History? Are you all THAT young?
Fun Fact:
The famous Baldaurs Gate 1 Tavern Music was actually the Tavern Music from Descent to Undermountain.

A really horrible 1th person RPG set in Waterdeep (Undermountain is the Dungeon below that City).

Waterdeep's great but going from City A to City B is kinda meh. I'd love to see something featuring the Dalelands, or just.. anywhere other than the Sword Coast for once.
Well, most of the waterdeep content would be Undermountain.

I agree with others that the likelihood of getting any DLC is pretty low, but I think setting something in Undermountain and then *not* having access to all of Waterdeep would be so pointless. You have what may be the coolest city in the realms, and then say "no sorry you're stuck in this one tavern connected to the dungeon?" No way.

Oh, i have an idea. Why not go to Abeir, and twin world for Toril? Fight the evil dragon overlords and free even more dragonborn from slavery.

I remember when "DLC" was a hated term, treated as though it were poison, or blasphemy.

Now people actively ask for it, and anticipate it.

Looks like the corporations succeeded in that regard. It used to be their excuse for not raising box prices, now they are doing that and raising box prices.

We lost that fight.

Edit: (Talking about the industry in general, not BG3 in that last regard. One of the things Larian has been customer friendly with, and I applaud them for.)
