Barbarian Stats
What would be ideal for a Dragonborn Barbarian in terms of Stats? I know that Strength and Constitution are essential, I've read that Charisma is very important, and some say Wisdom is even more important. How can I balance the stats?

You want high strength and constitution. 14 dexterity works great with medium armor, which you'll probably be using. As far as mental stats go, intelligence does nothing for you, wisdom is good for saves, charisma is good for social situations.

Barbarians primary ability is Strength, their saving throw proficiencies are Strength and Constitution.

STR 16
CON 15
DEX 13
INT 10
WIS 10
CHA 14

I think you can go strength or dex as barb although strength is stronger (pun somewhat intended). Con second for sure. The rest you can honestly pick any. People like Wis for perception or Cha for Persuasion. Int tends to be a dump stat for most.

The "ideal stats" vary based on your character and their goals, which are influenced by the game and your desired playstyle. It depends on factors such as the chosen barbarian subclass, preferred weapons, and whether you prioritize combat or also want to explore roleplaying options.

I think this is a good TTRPG build, but would disagree it is a good CRPG build. I think what is good has now changed because you can respec at 4th Level. At 1st Level, I'd go for:
S 16
D 14
C 16
I 8
W 12
C 8
At 4th Level (after respec):
S 16 (18 if not Bear)
D 16
C 18 (16 if not Bear)
I 8
W 8
C 8

The +1 to +3 you get from I/W/C up to 14 happen 1% as much as the ones you get for S/D/C. You gotta play the odds.

Considering auntie ethels hair is accessible really early, you should try your best to reach 17 str at the start, that lets you hit 20 at level 4.

You can ofcourse put the hair on someone else and reach 20 on them, but we all know we picking our own character :)
