Is there a way to tweak the autosave frequency?
Basically i hate losing +30 minutes (or sometimes hours) of progress when i died from making a stupid mistake in hindsight.

I'm not used to spamming F5 anymore

No, autosaves occur at specifically flagged points on the map/in the story. There's no timed autosave functionality, or any repeatable autosave triggers. You'll just have to get used to F5ing.

Just raise your max number of autosaves.

As a reminder- autosaves and quicksaves are shared across all your characters, you should really be doing hard/manual saves instead.

What? Not tested it, but each save for my char's runs, are stored for them under the char's names. If you delete the char, all the saves listed disappear. I do not do quick saves, but manual ones and auto saves are done automatically and are listed under that char's names.

I know if I do not delete a char, then play another one instead, they both appear to have separate auto saves.

Lose enough progress and you will.

By the time the dish of the day is released on August 3rd, your mind will be so sharp you'll be able to telepathically hit the F5 button.

Look mom, no hands.

Each to his own, but I have not used F5 since I started playing EA, over 2 years ago. I also limit the number of auto saves and manual saves to 3 each. I don't see the need to have a bunch of saves.

i made a second char and after awhile i noticed my original char was completely gone(i had thought i made at least 1 manual save maybe i didnt) and later made a 3rd char just to test what happened to the first and indeed after awhile of playing the 2nd char the 3rd had disappeared as well. i also lowered the number of auto\quick saves that are stored.

Can't remember which, but one of the updates changed it. Used to be that if the characters had different names it was fine, but now they're shared. If you hit the limit you'll start losing them.
