Gale keep pestering me about artifacts

Hey,

So small spoiler ahead, Gale told me he need the druid artefact so I have bring it to him but at the camp he continue to mention how I'm ignoring his request

Is it a bug or am I missing something?

First, you don't have to give him the druid artifact, he simply says that would work to help his issue, but you can use any magical item, be it equipment or non equipment to help him. You simply need to find them.
Second, he stated his condition is a persistent issue. While he will stop asking after you help him two or three times, in my case usually two, he does need either a particularly strong magical item or simply a couple of them and he'll be good for the rest of your EA run.

In EA Version you have to feed him 2 artifacts so he is good.
I feed the bottle from the chest of the zantharim (gnolls cave) + the stab of the hag. I dont need both of them and dont have to steal the idol or give to gale the good stuff like the sword of justice.

There are like 5 or more in EA that he will accept give his those that you don't need.
Like I'm sure the 2H sword from fake paladin, that give user shield of faith is one of them and then there is the flask that spawns the Observer when thrown, then 1 handed sword from the stone in Underdark.
Yea if he does not get them he will eventually blow up and kill a lot of people...

He's going to eat every single high magical artifact/weapon/armor that you get. Decide which you want: him or your shinnies.
Personally, I decided shinnies and left him dead at the side of the road.

No he doesn't, and I'll never understand how you guys are so greedy in an EA version of the game that you wouldn't bother to experiment to see if what you are saying is actually accurate, which it's not.
He doesn't keep eating everything, he stops after a couple of times. You'll have plenty of magical gear or items you won't be using for combat by that point in EA, so unless you are obsessed with gold giving them to your ally/friend isn't end of the universe.

he'll also take: necromancy of thay book (unlocked), amulet of selune, staff of crones.

Quite a few of the items you can feed to gale are trash, at least in early access, like necromancy of thay or bottle with observer.

At least in EA I ignored his requests for artifacts i liked and just gave him the ones I had no use for. Slowly. Had no issues

how long can u go in EA without feeding gale magic stuff ? sometimes the artifacts and stuff are more valuable than him

No they aren't. You get a couple of early magical items that either value has diminished by the time he's asking for stuff or there's items that AREN'T equipment and as such can't be used in any meaningful way. Example include the druid idol, the flask with a magical thing inside, etc. These items serve no purpose to you in combat, about the only thing you can do with them is sell for gold which I don't feel is better than a genuine wizard unless you are playing one yourself, or in the case of the flask can be used in some way for a potential quest, but that can be worked around and isn't the most vital thing.

As for your question, he will eventually leave the group I believe since he NEEDS to fix the problem. I don't know if he leaves faster if he doesn't like you, since I tend to play a good character and so he's always the highest on my favor meters and I always comply so he gets his problem solved and he stops asking for stuff. It's really that simple.

So many of you freak out over giving up ANYTHING that it baffles me you didn't use Early Access to TEST to see what it might take to solve the problem. In most cases, it's just two items and there's now PLENTY of things to use for those purposes since there's gear you wouldn't even use like the crone's staff considering there are several staves to use in the game for him and her's imho isn't that great of an item, but an easy item to give to him to solve the problem.
