Most useful Draconic Bloodline for Sorc?

I want to go Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer but was wondering what you all think is the most useful color to go with. I saw something that said green (acid?) or red(fire) as it will slightly boost damage to certain cantrips. What do we think will be the most useful in terms of resistance as well?

poison and fire are the most usefull for resistances. spellwise fire has the most variety lightning is fine too

While poison can be quite bad, fire is the most common.

Probably fire as that is the one you encounter the most in terms of damage as well as being the better spells in terms of damage spells, but that is based off of EA

In terms of creature resistance, acid is probably going to be pretty good. Fire dragons (Red, Gold, Brass) will strengthen the popular fire spells.

I'd pick the dragon background more for the lore than for the damage enhancement or resistance. Are you powerful and evil? Go Red. A paragon of wisdom and righteousness? Go Gold. Seek to resolve conflicts peacefully? Consider bronze. Independent streak who prefers a good sneak attack? Consider a black dragon. And so forth. For me, the dragon background is more about the essence of how you view your character than it is about a particular type of damage. That's just my opinion. I'm sure that others will differ, particularly if the goal is min/max.

White dragon bloodline gives you the spell Armor of Agathys, only way for a sorc to get it without multiclassing. I'd say it's easily the best spell out of what the bloodlines give you. Not a ton of cold spells I can think of other than cone of cold tho.

I like the Brass Dragon bloodline, because it has access to Tasha’s Hideous Laughter. Auto-crit for your melee fighter.

Depends.

Some give you useful spell damage bonus or resistances.

Me? I like spellsnot usualy available for sorcs, like bronze (Hideous Laughter) or white (Armour of Agathys)
