The devs have said they want you to experiment with multi-classing. So I assume they've balanced the game around being able to do that.
Remember, Paladins are all about Strength, Wisdom and Charisma. Not Constitution.

-Paladins primary ability is Strength, their saving throw proficiencies are Wisdom & Charisma.
-Sorcerers primary ability is Charisma, their saving throw proficiencies are Constitution & Charisma.
I'm probably going to start sorc first, but reclass later to put Paladin first to get the heavy armor proficiency.
Paladin/Sorcer is one of the best possible multiclasses in D&D 5e, you just can't go wrong no matter your subclass choice. Usually we start with Paladin to get weapon/Armor prof.
Your stats are looking good. While WIS is one of your saves, CON will always be a good choice, since it's direct tied to your HP, and Paladins are melee frontline characters (not very good tanks, but melee nonetheless).
Most people either go Paladin 2/Sorcerer 5+ (Sorc focus after Pal divine smite is acquired) or Paladin 6/Sorc 3+ (to get extra atack and aura).
Starting with Sorc is really not ideal.
I decided to start sorc as more of a roleplay choice, as it didn't really make sense multi classing into dragon ancestry.
And from what I've heard, you can re-select what your starting class is, so I figured I'd just switch them around down the line for the armor proficiency.
It was always in your blood bro =P
Fair enough, damn RPers o/
Hey, it's not like I'm going to be sub-optimal forever. :P A little bit of video game mechanic abuse, and I'll respec my guy into Paladin first, Sorc second.
