I'd fiend though.
Also, oathbreaker is amazing.
You typically dont want to go Fiend, because if you go Pact of the Blade it lets you use Charisma as your melee stat, so you dont need to stat into Strength AND Charisma AND however much Con/whatever. You can just stat 20 into Charisma as your casting stat and your melee stat.
And i def do NOT think Even distribution for ASIs is a trap. Things like Great Weapon Master, Sharp Shooter, Dual Wield etc end up being really good. You typically need 2 ASI to max your main stat unless youre using hag hair on a 17, so having a 3rd ASI can be huge.
Extra attack from Pact of the Blade stacks right now so you'll get 3 attacks per action instead of 2.
Best paladin is Oathbreaker for Aura of Hate and best Warlock is probably Great Old One for crit synergies.
I am playing this build but went
STR-8
DEX-14
CON-14
INT-10
WIS-12
CHR-17
You don't really need strength since you will eventually use charisma for weapons anyways if you go pact weapon. You can rely on finesse weapons until then and dex will get you higher AC with medium armor and more initiative.
Also be aware that warlock multiclass is bugged especially Archfey.
With all warlock subclasses you can not use warlock spell slots before regular spell slots for non-warlock spells. So no smiting with warlock slots and getting them back with just a short rest until you use up all your long rest spell slots.
On top of that for Archfey if your regular spell slots are higher level than your regular spell slots then your warlock spells will always use your higher level spell slots. So something like hex will force you to use a lvl 2+ regular spell slot (with no benefit) instead of using your lvl 1 warlock spell slots. This bug doesn't affect fiend or GOO warlocks.
