Can i kill ANY npc?
Since i am going to roleplay an absolute evil I hope there will be no invulnerable NPCs in the world, right? So i can kill any NPC i don't like.

I'm pretty sure yes. There is at least 1 I know of that can't be killed in certain spots, but still is killable.

Edit: Can't kill Withers as well.

Just about. You can't kill the tiefling kiddies, at least not directly.

I think there is 1 who can't be killed, from what I heard anyway. But outside of them, pretty much every NPC can be killed from what I understand.

Yes, but be careful with that power. Don't abuse it.

Too much bullying will get you into trouble with the game mechanics.

It won't end well.

Just a warning, so that you don't waste your time.

There are no game mechanics that punish you for murder hoboing. All it does is ensure you end up with more people to murder hobo when they come to try to kill your evil ass.

So, literally, i can ruin the run for being a total mess?

Not necessarily. I don't think there's any evidence of that. More just "don't play stupid" kind of conseqeunces.

You're going to be visiting major cities and reports of your deeds may start to come back and haunt you. I'd imagine there's consequences for going on an endless murder spree.

From the perspective of what you NEED to do in order to get through act 1 ... it is basically nothing. You don't need to do anything in the underdark or with the druids. Everything is optional. You just need to travel from point A to point B.

You can kill everyone so far except for withers and tiefling children

Larian is usually good at having safe guards meaning you can still progress the main story until you finish even if you slaughter everyone.

But is there any way to indirectly cause the untimely demise of said children?

Asking for a friend.

Some of them die if you don't save them from the consequences of their own actions like the girl who tried to steal from the druids..

You can then throw said dead girl around like a ragdoll, if you wanna feel real evil.

You can’t kill children (except goblin children) yourself. But you can let them die.

Off screen murder is still fine. Worked for the Jedi children.
