But the game will have a respec option. From what I've heard (second hand) about it, you can change your companions a bit with it. But haven't used it directly yet, so how much you can change, I don't know. I'm hoping it will be as good as the DOS2 mirror thing, where you can adjust visuals a little as well as stats.
LEVEL ONE CHAR
Gale: Wizard
Astarion: Rogue
Laezel: Fighter
Shadowheart: Priest (trickery)
Wyll: Warlock (level 2 actually)
Karlash: Barbarian (level X i don't know)
LEVEL X CHAR
Minthara: Paladin (evil)
Halsin: Druid
Minsc: Ranger
Jaheira: Druid/(fighter?)
Yes i already did a full research and i find nothing clear. I can see a official list and another ones that may be... or not. Same for the class for them. I think it's important to know the exactly number of companions and theyr class in order to plan a solid team.
Playing the EA can help some. You can get a basic feel for the starting early companions, such as Lae'zel, Shadowheart, Astrarion and Gale. Such as what type of class they are, usefulness to your group and approvals.
Would you like to know the ending, too?
Just play the play the game. Explore and find out everything for yourself.
Why play these games if you want advanced notice on everything.
Some of the questions being thrown around today require The Amazing Kreskin and Nostradamus.
And you want a Coles Notes printout on all of the companions.
For example i like to have Jaheira and Minsc on my team, but i will meet them later in the game.
So i might use some other character to compensate while i'm looking for them.
I always assumed minthara was a cleric, but you're right she probably is a paladin.
True and there will also be hirelings we can hire to fill some slots. And even the option to create a co-op game, create the custom additional char, save the first chance you get and then close out the other client running. Bingo, one more fully customizable party member.
She is. In the most evil way.
But i would advise against the multiplayer workaround. Because during my party when i have created another character that way i didn't find a way to remove this character from the party (even dead). Bu maybe it's possible in the release game?
Not sure if that will be possible to remove the Co-op char in the full release. Good question. But I do know creating a co-op additional char will be easier in the full release.
But since you would be doing it very early in the game, would be easy to test it. Save before you create the Co-op char would be wise.
How old are you? 12 maybe? The ending...really? WTF. Andanced notice of everything? Everything? i'm just asking ONE thing to optimize my build. Grown ups don't have infinite time to play a game 500 hours. Use you head and don't think you have the truth when you know NOTHING about the situation of other people.
As i said, i don't know if you're a kid or just an immature grown up but... Think about it ;)
