Is it possible with the new Modding-Kit...
To make Aarakocra (Perhaps very possible since flying is in and they have Harpies...) Thri-Kreen (Could be possible, I don't most of their abilities are already in the game. Just making them as they are and as they appear would be more work...) and Locathah (I know this one is a bit more of stretch, because this game seems to lack a lot aquatic environment needed by this race to survive. There maybe work around for that. However there is Kuo-toa as Npcs, and that a start at least.) as playable characters.

Let just not even think about Act three just yet... I guess their own kind is perfectly acceptable for mating or fun, but Maybe the other demi-humans could be invited to keep the eggs warm if you wanted things to go that way ;)

There is an Aarakocra mod already.

Edit: Just to be clear, it's not my mod. It is called Mirri's Aarakocra by Mirrismods.

There are no playable Thri-Kreen, but the Spelljammer features mod includes a Thri-Kreen weapon. I believe there is also a playable Kuo-Toa mod, too.

Good to know, thanks...

I found a number of races that have been modded. But Tabaxi which I only got hint of were not anywhere to be found...

Nobody's done Tabaxi. However, at Nexus, there is the BeastFolk mod, which includes Nekokin cat-people as one of the subraces. It's lacking an update, so while it DOES still work in Patch 7, the race has no icon in character selection.

IIRC, you'll need additional mods for cat ears and other features, but it includes some links to those.

Very interesting after looking through Mods. I think I want to make my favourite character. A Aarakroca Monk of the Astral-Self multi-class with a Rogue, but only leaving the latter at first level while elevating the former to the allowable level limit through game play... Can't exactly find Monks-of-the-Astral-Self as a sub-class in Mods yet. Was this ever officially putting in the game? I can see why it may be hard to do as astral bodies is exactly in the game yet or ever. It's part his origin story that he lost his wings when a lovely female Kenku or Raven-Folk tricked him into losing them through some rare magic ritual where they swapped appendages. Weird huh? And he was only ever able to replace them when he was able to achieve Astral-Limbs, (Wings) but only 10 minutes at a time. Anyway, I understand if this isn't possible in the computer game. Because, table top D&D will always beat the computer version in terms or graphic and creativity. Your imagination is the only limit there...

There is mod called Way of the Astral Grasp. Is this the closest they have got?

Tabaxi are listed as a part of Mirri's Playable Cats, once again by mirrismods.

I have found Tabaxi in one that has extra races combined in the same mod.

Now, I looking for mod that allows me to have every stat at 20. As I don't wish to cheat, but my Bird-man monk had Wisdom of 19 or 20 and Dexterity of 20. Yeah, we used a old system for rolling stats when we did...
Mick Feb 10 @ 6:20am
Okay there is a Mod. it's enabling the mod. This allows you to start the game with potion of Lesser wish that allows you alter your stats and I suppose that would be to how I would desire them. Got my character to drink the potion and I still don't know how it works?

Don't worry , figured it out. It's all good. I have the feeling modders might have tried using the harpies body instead of human or Aasimar body for the Aarakroca. Since they have clawed talons for hands and feet...

Choose Your Stats and Cheater's Scroll cheat mods can alter ability scores.

Glad to see that Monk of the Astral self is in the game. Might be one of the Monk mods I picked actually or is it in the vanilla game?

BTW, is there a mod that raises the stats of your companions to well above average. Lea' Zel, Shadowheart, and Astarion now all have most of their stats exceeding 20 and I think that the Vampire Rogue having a dexterity of 23 was putting my Monk to shame. So, I checked out what stats they are supposed to have on the original character sheet PDFs for them that came from Larian-Studios along with the digital art-book. Their stats just look average there. I would show them here, but suck at putting up images on this discussion board. It's crying shame, because I think it's ruining the game...

Sorry I didn't answer this earlier. I had to double check, as it's a monk subclass I never use. (Though I AM a huge fan of Ascendant Dragon and Radiant/Sun Soul.)

Way of Astral Self is part of the "5E Monk Subclasses" mod.
https://mod.io/g/baldursgate3/m/5e-monk-subclasses-combined

In total, it includes 6 monk subclasses, also the Kensei or sword monk.

Again, the cheat mods I mentioned earlier can alter any stat for any character.
Mick Feb 10 @ 6:10pm
Yeah, the Monk Subclass's got good coverage after seeing what I select there.

What I was referring to about the companions stats being higher than average. At least four stat over 20 on some and it involuntary. I do not want companions with such high stats when they have only just got tot third level. Do I need to switch off those mods to get them back to normal?
