Gondians and their desire to get blown up underwater
Like what is with this.

You free them.

And they go and...Stand still.

Because that's the smart thing to do!

they glitch out if you don't climb the ladder according to the wiki otherwise its a ladder pathing error on their ai that hopefully will be fixed in patch 8

But I hadn't even been near the ladder when they glitched out.

It's a glitch thats been around since early access from the timestamps I saw on all the threads about it.

Umm, Gondians weren't around for Early Access. ♥♥♥♥ you talking about?

I'm talking about the AI breaking and not doing anything on their turn. Which happens on more occasions than just the Gondians. So calm the F down or something.
AIs get hung up in loops in a lot of games. At least BG3 has a timeout system. I've had other games where the game just freezes forever, waiting for the AI to take its move.

Yeah, thats great and all.

But if the AI is the Gondians refusing to do anything but stand when theres 3 turns to get to the sub. Its annoying as heck.

I've never had that happen. Ever. So ... IDK? Maybe you are special.

I do know you shouldn't block ladders, because that confuses the pathing. There is that one Gondian who likes to run *just* far enough to block the ladder. He's annoying.

Really?
Yes, really. I must have played this scenario at least 10-20 times, and I have never had the Gondians refuse to move. YMMV, as always.
I had it happen once. In more than a dozen times. I just accept the ones that make it on the sub and accept it.

Threads that have NOTHING to do with MY playthroughs. Yes.

Like I said, YMMV.
