Alfira/Durge/Destroy Grove
Basically, I am playing as Durge. Can I destroy the grove and still have Alfira alive, so that I can get the Potent Robe?

Unless you help the Tieflings rebel against the Grove; no. Helping Minthara burn the place down kills all Tieflings.

If I kill the druids and then go to Gobos, they will kill the Tieflings as well?

Yes
You probably want that reward she gives right?
The nice robe.

Ya its kinda sad that its the only way to obtain it and it basically does not work typically for a evil play.

But here is a tip I read somewhere you can keep her alive if you only knock her out using non lethal damage.

So with that little information I would experament with knocking her out like that possibly in various situations to keep her alive.

So may be during the grove attack. If you are murdering her in your sleep you could try to knock her out.

Oh and learn about the improvised weapon commands.

"It allows you to pick people up and move them"

You can use this I would imagine to again experament by moving her out of the grove during the attack.

You can pick them up and then click far away to move them and while in the process of carrying them you can pull up your map and click on a waypoint (which teleports your party there).

This would if correctly done make her appear at that waypoint.

When I tried this once the person I did it to stayed at the waypoint. (so they were safe)

Good luck!
I have played 4 Dark Urge play runs. The first time, doing it at release I was not sure of the path to take and became Baal's chosen one. I have never destroyed the Grove. All since then have been a redemption path play runs.

Knocking out Alfira with a non lethal melee attack, will work. But sometimes I have had to do it twice. The trigger for the murder scene will happen after you cross the bridge to the Blighted Village and first do a long rest.

So make sure she is knocked out before crossing that bridge and doing a long rest.

Do you have to make her aggro you via stealing something? If I understand correctly, that's the method you need to do in order to knock out Minthara.

Feels bad. The Potent Robe is really sexy to get and I am pretty sure, that even if Alfira survives, if you kill her girlfriend via any means will make it so you can't get it.

Pretty sure, that if you try to save her, the goblins likely kill her anyway. When researching Minthara, I read, that if you knock her out during the attack and turn on the goblins, she isn't available in Act 2 and that you need to sort it out before the attack.

Minthara can be knocked out at the Attack on the Grove. The threads you are referring to are likely before Minthara was officially possible to recruit by knocking her out and people were glitching her to Moonrise Towers.

Source; I've done Attack on the Grove five times since the change and every time she shows up at Moonrise after being knocked out when I turn on her trying to break in.

I suggest that if you want to attack the grove, then just attack the grove. Go on the ride. See what happens.

You don't even need the best gear in this game to beat it...

No. Just make sure non-lethal is turned on and then hit her. May take 2 -3 hits.

I have not had any issues knocking out Minthara ether.

Well, there are issues. You have to make sure you aren't doing "rider" damage. No extra add-on damage, because that will kill her after she gets knocked out.

Of course. At level 3, I am not likely to have a weapon which does a dot on the enemy. I make sure I don't use the Everburn blade.
