Comprehensive mod
There's a new mod at Nexus that does a complete overhaul of BG3. Has anyone here tried it out? And does anyone know if it will come to Stream?

Why are you asking us if it will come to Steam and not the mod's author? We don't know.

Larian ain't adding a Steam Workshop, so why would it come to Steam?

Im using it atm, I like it. It will stay on nexus according to the creator.
Will a mod survive the impending update?

Eventually yes. It’s on the mod makers to update their mods.
You mean Home Brew? I'm playing a run currently. It's quite fun but there are a few things I don't like like illithid powers giving -2 max health each and cull the weak nerf ( No more AOE chain explosions :( ) and absolutely everyone and their mothers is running counterspell so you have to take that into account every turn.
As for it 'coming to steam' (I assume you mean the ingame mod manager?) who knows. Only the author knows if he intents to do that or not.

If you are talking about Trials of Tav Reloaded, which comprehensively overhauls BG3 into a roguelike dungeon crawler, it is still at Nexus, where it's always been. I have not tried it out.

You might also be referring to Forsaken, which replaces the standard BG3 campaign with a campaign set in WoW's universe in the realm of Tirisfal Glades. That was just released at Nexus, but only the "teaser" starter level is available at this point. Since it's pretty much in alpha, I have not tried it out, either. I'm also not crazy about the fact that it has no companions (either from the main campaign, or any at all) and is thus hireling-only. But I'd consider it (I am a WoW player) as it develops more.

Frankly, I have more interest in stuff that ADDS to the existing campaign (like Spelljammer 5E) rather than stuff that replaces it. The Forsaken author appears to be working on a Act 2 expansion, I'm more interested in that.

For me this is a no brainier. Never coming to the In-Game-mm...

This mod wouldn't be possible without Norbyte's Script Extender.
