Baldur's Gate 3

Zobacz statystyki:
Faith-Leap Trial easily the worst part of the game by a multiutide of scales.
One of the worst expierences you can have - and i had a lot.

The solution is obvious, its truly painted on the floor - you gotta walk the invisible walkway - but it just doesn't work, is a absolute pure pain to finish that HATES the player - no water, no items, no alernative ways, no jumping, no dimension door.

Remove it.

Absolutly Aweful.

For the two people who clearly can't read subtext or actual text: I've passed it...

Really, all you need is an attention span of more then 30 seconds and you can do it. Even if you don't want to keep looking at the map on the floor, you can still do things like look at your pathing line. Everywhere it dips/falls off is someplace you shouldn't go.
I hadn't played for a while and forgot about this garbage... Thanks for ruining my day.

Lol

theres literally a drawing on the floor that tells you where to go.

Read the post you replied to, specifically "The solution is obvious, its truly painted on the floor".

You must be american with that level of reading skill.

It clearly does work. Then why are you posting this as a issue if the pattern does work when you follow it correctly?

Or do you lack the skill when using it?

Tip. Use tactical view ( O key on the KB ) and also go into combat mode so you can use ether misty step, fly or enhanced jump without being concerned about the turns for those running out.
Git gud
I struggles with that one because even flying using a spell or scroll, which you should have several of by that point, was hard because when I landed on a platform I would get damaged and blinded. Eventually I figured it out. But flight, and maybe a potion of speed or haste, is the key. I couldn't understand where the invisible floor was.
Fly and jump do not work in Honor mode.

I play on Honor Mode rules and can confirm that the following worked just fine for me:

1) equip the ring that prevents being blinded
2) walk down to the platform where the path starts.
3) jump to the closest platform
4) walk to the far side of the platform and jump to the next platform (the one in the middle)
5) walk to the far side of that platform and jump to the final platform
6) pick up the gem
I don't use Honor mode, only the Honor difficulty of Custom Mode, and I can tell you when using that, flight, teleportation, and jumping in the Trial work just fine.

BTW, the key to not being blinded and disoriented when flying onto the platforms is to make sure you're not entering the darkness being given off by the statues on them, but rather landing close to the corners.

Uncouple one character from the rest of the group, engage turn-based, and then watch the line that projects where you'll walk. If it dips a little, then that's because you've stepped off a ledge. Back it up a little and adjust.

Keep referring to the map on the floor that is lit, and you can, by using the above, solve this challenge the "right way", step by step, without dimension door/misty step or other like shenanigans.

Jump certainly works. I don't use fly for that quest.

That's it and 1) is optional if you land close to the corners (it's what I did). Not strong enough for the last jump (I don't remember the exact distance for the last jump), just drink a Potion of Glorious Vaulting that triple your jump distance for 10 turns.

Yeah. They do. The only difference between Honor Mode and Honor Mode Rule set in Custom setting, is the single save restriction for Honor Mode. If you check enemy can crit and the other combat settings are on Tactician. You will get the same experience fighting bosses with them both.

Wait until act 3 where you do a quest and fail 4 others cause why not, ♥♥♥♥ you right in the face. Act 3 is definition of anti fun. Slogfest, bugfest, worst part of the game. Especially for a first blind run.

Overhead camera and zooming in and out makes this very easy.

I don't remember what happens in this puzzle. It's been a year or so since I played. But when you fail are you just teleported back to the start or does the character die? I'm playing honour mode this time and if I can lose the run I might just skip doing this entirely lol. I'm not playing shart this time anyway.
