Will we get a werewolf druid subclass?
I remember the druid shapeshifter subclass from BG1 and 2 and was wondering if we could possibly get something similar. I know we have the moon druid but the owlbear looks ugly and i don´t want to be a fat bird :(

There are no known plans for any additional subclasses beyond what's coming in Patch 8

Patch 9!
Mods exist but I haven't used ones for werewolf.
No. Not only is it exceedingly unlikely we're getting any more subclasses after the new patch 8 ones, but "werewolf" isn't a 5th Edition subclass. While BG3 isn't completely faithful to tabletop, the classes and subclasses at least take their name/concept from the tabletop game. Lycanthropy exists in 5E, but it has nothing to do with your class.

We did have a Bard Werewolf Companion that Larian was working on to be the opposite side of the "turn Tav into a monster" coin to Astarion, but it was dropped in the earlier parts of early access sadly.

Wish they didn't 'cause it would fill the Bard role we didn't get fully with Alfira and have a better party class spread since we end up with two Druids, multiple Elves (the Bard was a Halfling), and fewer companion options in certain game states.

Patch 8 with 12 new subclasses is in testing right now.

Helia was supposed to be the werewolf hobbit bard companion. She was dropped from release, but you do have a female hobbit bard hireling named Brinna Brightsong. (She's just not a werewolf.)

Although they scrapped Helia, they left all the "werewolf files" in the game, so there are plenty of mods to let you play or become a werewolf. Like potions that you drink and then you can assume a werewolf form.

There are no druid subclasses that are "werewolf druids" - though all druids can wild shape into beast forms like wolves. Of course, nothing's stopping you from playing a Moon druid (or other druid) who uses one of those werewolf potions to assume a werewolf form (along with all their other wild shapes).

In BG2 you could have a companion named Cernd who was a Druid with the Shapeshifter kit. (Kits were the equivalent of subclasses back then in 2e.) In BG2, shapeshifters were druids who had deliberately been infected with lycanthropy. They were able to shapeshift into werewolves at will. At higher levels they would shapeshift into Greater Wolfweres. However, they gave up the ability to shift into any other kind of shape. Only werewolves (and the related wolfweres).

But that's not relevant at all, since this game uses 5e. In this game, there are no druid subclasses that are werewolf druids.

Well, my memory ain't perfect as I always admit, and I played BG2 a long time ago.

I definitely remember Cernd, and now that you mention it, that peculiarity of his shapeshifting ability, I guess based on his kit.

NWN had a 'shifter' class that was a prestige class off druid (because required wildshape to unlock it). It allowed you to become all kinds of crap from a baby dragon (immune to its element type, so handy for that alone) to a minotaur or a medusa and everything in between. That was all it did, really, was pop into a shape that was best for whatever fight, and the rules about what gear and stats carried over from your character and what did not were extremely confusing and just had to be memorized because they were so random.
No, they busy. lolololol
is it worth waiting for patch 8 for a fresh start? or starting now is fine?
