Since the Hexblade is coming into the game will Pact of the blade go back to its RAW description?

No, it will not.

From what I can tell, Hexblade just gets Extra Attack without needing Pact of the Blade allowing them to get Pact of Tome/Chains instead.

I assume the BG3 version of Pact of the Blade was based on advanced knowledge of the 2024 rules, because it *does* follow RAW (2024).

What I take from this is that the Hexblade being so very popular in 2014 5e caught the attention of WotC enough that they decided to fold the core Hexblade feature (pact weapon using CHA) into the PotB for all warlocks.

Yeah, though the tuber I watched kept using Booming Blade cantrip on Tactician which may have killed his intention to see if there was Blade/Hex extra attack stacking. Still he checked the levelup screen and it didn't give him "Improved Extra Attack" or anything like that:

A tuber using the mod version to make a guide which doesn't help for the question:

https://bg3.wiki/wiki/The_Hexblade <-- Good source for the mechanics of Hexblade as is.

https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Pact_of_the_Blade_(passive_feature) <-- Still the same mechanics or at least not updated yet.

https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Extra_Attack <-- Extra Attack mechanics. Not updated with anything Hexblade yet.

Deepened Pact (Pact of the Blade)'s Extra Attack does stack, but not in Honour mode.

It will be interesting when we get definite play of the class to see if Hexblade binding follows the same rules and whether it stacks with Blade Pact, but again like you said Raz, so far it *seems* no and I personally doubt it myself.

One thing I'm wondering is what happens if you dual weld and bind both of your weapons with one bind each. I guess we can get CHA used for attack rolls and damage bonus on both weapons, but the offhand still won't get an extra attack because it's a bonus action.

If there's no real benefit to Blade Pact with Hex Blade other than that, i'm most likely taking Pact of the Tome even if I'm using a one hander like shadow Blade spell. :)

I could easily see that being the case. :)
