The house of hope
Since we are in the house of a demon, I think it's only fitting that I klept every single item I can find! Mwahahaha!

Damn... just found the archive.. so many items.. could I steal them all.... so excited... but a little cautious as well (I had a disguise snafu at the start and it appear the resident can be a little tough...)

You can steal everything from there pretty easily. Just don't get spotted by the archivest while doing so, and mind the traps (they're disableable or circumnavigable with a little cleverness).

I have some vague memory of my first play-through.. so I think I'll have to fight my way through everyone eventually, haha....

but mmm... I shall try to acquire most item peacefully, as you suggest! :D

If you kill everyone off before you get there, you don't have to worry about anyone interrupting your shopping experience.

I just go in and right away, steal the amulet of life and then start killing everyone there with the exception of saving Hope. Then of course, Raphael at the end.

It's the best designed boss fight in the game imo and my favorite. Love the music score for it also.

That is the way!

And now, it is so! :)
Funny story... even tough I think I am paying less attention this second playthrough. Not even reading all the books carefully like I did the first time... I made some easy connection that totally escaped me the first time! :O

Like.. Korilla!
The girl who open the portal to hell for us!
She is allied with Raphael and we fight her in the Raphael boss fight! :O

Well last time, as a good customer grateful for her service, I didn't ransack the house!
But now.. mwahaha... I am gonna ransack it good! :D

EDIT EDIT EDIT

big mistake, I was so wrong! For whatever reason I mistook Helsik for Korilla!
But where the hell did I meet Korilla before?!

Now that you said it... I relalise I could have used non lethal damage on her....
I mean it was the big Raphael fight I was a bit tense...

I didn't have one of those streamer 1 shot kill of Raphael kind of build!
Just a simply Moded 6 man party of level 20, including a Mystic 17/Rogue 3 (I discovered the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sneak attack is based on overall level, not just rogue level! :O ), mmm.... In hindsight I could have been more chilled about it! ^_^

Korilla is Hope's sister. Helsik is the proprietor of Devi's Fee.

I think you can KO her instead of killing her. I never bother. I'm trying to kill everything else in the room (including Raphael) and she's allied with the things trying to kill me, so ...

And yes, at the brothel, after you talk to Raphael, she will ask you to talk to her about it. I usually obviously avoid talking to her because I already know (meta-gaming) she works for Raphael. Her main goal is to persuade you to accept his deal.

♥♥♥♥, y'all get the chance to knock out Korrila? I don't. Yurgir blasts her into a different dimension with immediate prejudice.

Korilla is a pc of ♥♥♥♥. I always kill her. She deserves it.

I mean, your char has a dialog option when talking to Hope which reflects that attitude.
