Can a romanced ascended Gale reverse an MC mindflayer transformation?

The answer appears to be no, because while Mystra can cure Gale of ceremorphosis, she seems to have more experience at this divinity thing, so even if Gale becomes a god, he's not even able to reverse his own ceremorphosis, let alone that of Tav/the player.

I didn't know Mystra could cure Gale, you are talking about after he becomes full mind flayer yeah?

But I'd also add that Mystra is one of the most powerful gods, being the god of magic itself, it's a lot more feasible for her to reverse something like this.
Gale along with being fairly new at divinity, is also a god of ambition, not exactly something that naturally lends itself to undoing a transformation.
The only way for Gale to become a mindflayer is to be origin and volunteer to be one. In that case, if he has already made his peace with Mystra, she can ascend him into Elysium and cure him there. He's not a god, but he's not really human anymore either.

I made this point, because in fact, it is possible (if a little weird) for Origin Gale to wind up as a mindflayer god, meaning, obviously he can't cure himself, or he would.

Check out ending 6, "Gale the mindflayer god".

He can, actually, but he really likes tentacles. Proof: Trust me, bro.
