Yeah, her fire resistance is also super good for if you need to keep her rage up by taking damage in the round, a spell caster can tap her with a single Scorching Ray and still laser another target.
1) Karlach had Yeenoghus Gift but she ended her turn with out Yeenoghus Blessing
2) Shew went Mad the moment the round ended.
3) Then in the next round she used her turn to Throw Fire, Enraged Throw, Concussive Blast(which used the Shattered Flail). She then received Yeenoghus Blessing.
Going mad is bad news. Your controlled character will use up every consumable you have in your bag just to be as annoying as possible.
Force Conduit + Adamantine Armor + Heavy Armour Master + Warding Bond is out of this world. Who would have thought a simple uncommon weapon could be so fantastic.
I just stood back and let it run it's course. I don't care about Jaheira, but I want karlach.
So, no, a Barbarian Astarion would deal more damage than a barbarian karlach no question asked. In fact one of the highest damage a turn a character can do is only possible while being astarion and using a specific build that stack damage rider bonuses and that use arrow of X slaying to double its damage against a specific enemy type. If you use that as fighter with action surge you can even do 3 arrow of x slaying twice with all the damage rider and each shot would get the 1d10 from astarion ascendant vampire bonus damage. on top of everything which would get doubled by the arrow of slayings' effect and you can just shoot 6 of them. 1 Arrow can deal up to 1.5k damage in 1 hit if not more, if you stack enough modifier for bonus damage. You can literally one shot any boss with 1 arrow if you apply enough modifier to it bro.
So, you are wrong.
