One tip for conserving picks - many doors can be smashed down with melee weapons or monk fists. So try that before picking.
Merchants like Arron and Dammon tend to carry Disarming Tools. Believe Dyrreth does as well.
also, you shouldn't need so many. never disarm a 'vent' or obvious fire spewer type "trap" that is just a damage delivery system. Always kill just the trigger instead. Also shoot any traps that you can blow up that way (eg, the ones before the chest at the goblin camp upper area with the magic shield or the ones in the tunnel access where there aren't any guards coming into their area). And don't fail.. guidance, gloves of thievery, smuggler's ring and a dex based team mate with SOH skill will open a level 30 more often than not, so failing often means something is wrong.
