"Selune’s Spear of Night" bug (does not add in inventory).

Hey. After winning Act 2, Dame Aylin gives me a reward - Selune’s Spear of Night. But it didn't appear in anyone's inventory (should have appeared to Shadowheart). I didn't notice it right away and have been playing for several hours since then. Is there any way to get this weapon now? Maybe a console or something?

I know this bug hasn't been fixed since the game came out. All these unfixed bugs are upsetting, especially considering that they're not going to work with game updates anymore.

Playing on Honor Mode is very risky with only a single save. I have not experienced that bug before and actually, not had very many bugs at all. But the game is not flawless, so no way will I play on Honor Mode.

The next best thing is to do a Custom Mode play run, using the Honor Mode Rule set for the bosses and the other combat set to Tactician. Which is what the conditions for Honor Mode combat are. With the exception not having a single save restriction.

Learn from your experience. But others may have some suggestions on how to do a Honor Mode play run. I never will do one.

I've had that happen to me before.

I think the root of the problem is if you control Shadowheart. If you take Tav over to talk to Aylin, Shadowheart just shows up as part of the conversation. This seems to result in Shadowheart getting the spear. But if you control Shadowheart and make her initiate the conversation, I think that's when you have problems.

I can tell you how to get that spear with mods, but you might not want to use mods in an Honor run ....

There may be a way to spawn it via script extender which will bypass the mods-hose-achievements issue, you'll have to search for it ... if you can use SE.

I love Debug Book, but the one thing it CAN'T do is spawn items.

Still a bug after patch 8 and all the hotfixes. Nothing from the suggested stuff worked - I've already started the cutscene with my main character. Starting it with SH didn't work either. WHat ended up working was reloading my latest ACT 2 save (thankfully I've saved right before baldur's gate and noticed spear issue earrly, so didn't lose much gameplay) taking a long rest (doesn''t work otherwise) and initiating a cut scene there.

For me, talking to Dame Aylin in the campsite after departing the shadowlands caused this bug. Reloading back to before I left the shadowlands, then talking to her with my Tav at that campsite gave me the item.
