How to kill Myrkul?
I made this far in the game and I’m onlyvl 8. Honestly I feel underleveled. I heard that I just need advantage to kill him fast… And all I have is risky ring on Astarion Monk and Cloud of Fog on Shadowheart. My party is Rogue Assassin, Monk, Cleric Tempest Domain and Minthara. Idk if I really can kill it on this level still just asking for any advices. And no, I have no elixirs. I’ve sold all of them for money and now I feel bad for not keeping them.

No paladin? Aganist undeads paladin is the best class... Just respec a character, put him/her paladin, use the halbeard that you can buy from the bugbear, enhance the paladin with haste and bam, in a single turn you can kill myrkul

I’m using Minthara as paladin. Only a single turn? What kind of damage should I inflict?

Turn undead. Put sunlight up, or have the blood of lathander shining so undead get disadvantage. Cast protection from good and evil to halve damage from undead. Hit him with some arrows of illmater so he can't heal (or various other spells and effects). Tempest cleric should be really good in this fight for crowd control. Monk should be able to decimate the avatar's hp in a few rounds with two attacks and flurry of blows.
I assume you are playing on balanced difficulty?

8 is probably as low as you would want to be. 9-10 is better.

I'm not sure I can advise you too much on tactics with that party, because it's very unlike what I usually would use.

I can suggest that a source of protection from fear is a very good idea. If Minthara is her default, she should have a protection from fear aura. Also, Shadowheart can cast "calm emotions" which will protect all allies in a large area from fear for 10 turns.

It is a good idea to blind the Apostle. Darkness works. Hunger of Hadar works. I assume fog cloud also works, but I haven't tried it myself because I always have at least one of those others.

What he didn't include is that you'd have to;

1) Not be on Tactician as Myrkul gets resistance to Slashing damage, cutting it in half.
2) Hit max damage on all four of your hits (assuming you're not on Tactician) otherwise he is going to survive that turn
3) You need Great Weapon Master on Minthara 'cause without that extra 40 damage a round, you're missing a lot of damage but that also means you need to offset the -5 plus gain Attack Roll bonus has 19 AC and 20 on Tactician.
4) Be able to do damage on the remaining two characters to make up for one totally out of the fight for casting Haste or pop Haste potions on everyone so their actions can be used to attack.

That Aura doesn't come until Lv10. The Lv5 Aura makes it easier to succeed the Saving Throw though.

I guess I’ve got blood of lathander… I’ll try using it as paladin
I killed him asap since when he dies so does everything else, but I wasn’t on tactician

But I’m using one handed swords. Should I still upgrade her later as great weapon master? I just cant load the save before 8lvl. I can use blood of lathander as a dude from above said

Everything was so easy until this fight. And I can’t even leave the door to grab something I REALLY need

I could use darkness if it works as cloud of fog. And then just damage apostle with lightning. I can’t recall if he has any lightning resistance

Oh man you gotta make hard saves throughout the game so you can always revert back if you get stuck.

I mean I have a save before I jumped in that tentacle thing. And I could remake Minthara. In this case I skip most of the fights just to finish Myrkul asap. I wish somebody saw my face when I finally killed Thorm and there a huge ass ♥♥♥♥ appears from nowhere….
