No. Adamantine weapons are already buffed compared to how they function in DnD 5e proper. The fact they ignore resistances to their damage type is a perk they don't normally have, and that perk applies to all their weapons so if you equip an adamantine scimitar in your off-hand and a regular scimitar in the main, the main scimitar will ignore slashing resistance.

Don't see that happening.

The Armor is really good and can last some chars until the ending of the game. I get the armor and never the weapons.
