Hexblade.
It is actually not Death Cleric but Giant Barbarian.
Step 1: Get to Nexus
Step 2: Get Dread Overlord + Addons
Step 3: Thank me

For me, it's Swarmkeeper and Circle of the Astral Stars.

I only messed around with the first few levels, nice class mod. It will likely be my Bhaal Chosen run.
Probably some type of Hexblade, either single or multiclass.

Probably either Giant Barb or Hexblade. still kinda miffed that we got Shadow for sorc instead of Aberrant Mind.

Still wish a race with Powerful build was available. Mods don't seem to help even if they have the race they don't seem to get powerful build right.

Bladesinger/Drunken Master
Death/Hexblade
Path of Giants
Swashbuckler/Swords
Shadow Sorcery/Illusionist
For me its new cleric or bard perhaps

But as always I'll try them all eventually (at least at the camp or YouTube)

Oh, I forgot about Swashbucler. That is fun, too. And Bladesinger, though mostly I'm interested in the blade cantrips (hopefully we get those) so I can finally play my EKs like I want to.

I've been using the blade cantrips in Mystra's Spells for a long time. Great for my various gishes.

I want to see how Larian does Swarmkeeper different. I've always preferred Drakewarden. But if they make it interesting, I might try it out. Right now, Drakewarden mod (most recent version) doesn't play well with other subclasses.

I wanna see if an how Larian does Hexblade different, maybe they will improve on the mod version that's already available -- we'll see.

If they do Swashbuckler different -- meaning BETTER than 5E RAW -- and the current mod version -- I'll look at that.

Circle of Stars, because the Circle of Stars mod is busted broken. Though honestly, it's not THAT great a druid circle, but it's cool to turn into a constellation.

The Shadow Sorcerer will probably have immunity to the shadow curse; but why wait, get Book of Ebon Tides, it already contains two spells that protect from the shadow curse.

I think Swashbuckler is just fine as it is in 5e, why you feel like it needs buffs?
when is the patch suppose to drop?

I'm hesitating between Shadow Sorcerer and College of Glamour bard

Can't disarm or trip, flourish or stagger opponents with swordplay. (Although they can with a cunning strike, or they take martial adept feat, but ...)

A swashbuckler that can't swash much sucks.

Ah, so it's less about what they *can* do and more what they can't do. I've always liked the flavor and it has pretty cool mechanics. Basically Mobile feat for free and almost guarantee sneak attack in melee every round.

Though, I also like to multiclass Swashbuckler with Battle master exactly because I want Disarm, Trip and Riposte.
