Your combat log should be telling you what really happened, though.
Are you playing on Honour Mode rules or regular rules?
Yes, I'm playing Honour Mode and combat log doesn't register dolor amarus damage when I land critical hit with unarmed attack. But when I do it with daggers it shows.
It's sad cause monk with surgical amulet that allows all attack be critical for 2 turns and 3 dolor amarus items, deal in sum 500 damage + 50 radiant/force/necrotic.
Dolor Amarus: When you land a Critical hit with this weapon, it deals an additional 7 damage.
The thing is, though, it would add the 7 damage to their bow attacks as well, not just the daggers. So it could be the case it only applies on weapons, not Unarmed Strikes.
That wouldn't make sense, logically, when the dagger didn't mention it worked on Unarmed attacks until Patch 7. Before Patch 7 it just insinuated it worked on weapon attacks.
Oh well.
