Halsin is always buggy
I don’t think he works well with long rests.

After taking several long rests you can speak to him for him to join your party again but when I tried to fight Dror Ragzlin, Halsin can’t do any action other than attack.

I recommend always leaving Halsin behind because it is way easier to defeat everyone without his “help”.

halsin is great... i always do it with him... this patch Ui can get bugged same as for glut. you tp to camp and he will ask you if you are sure, then you cancel it and that should reset UI...

Btw you should not be resting during goblin camp makes no sense that you can just leave during combat like that and come back later and they are all still waiting there for you to finsih the job.,.. but it's your playthough so do whatever.. just my opinion on resting there..

There is no point in not using long rests if it is available to me. I do recommend to try to not use Halsin once, because you can slay Ragzlin before he can do anything, Gut can be slain when she gets in her room, but Minthara is a real fight, although you can still position yourself before the fight, just make sure no one reaches the drums and also slay the flying eye.

My order is to first slay Gut, then Minthara without alerting everyone, and then Ragzlin.

Frankly, it seems ridiculous that Minthara doesn't join in when Ragzlin is attacked, she's right there in the adjoining room, and vice versa.

That's why i split the team and do both at the same time no clue what happend to the drum thing. Do reinforcement even show up now? The whole base should go on high alert if someone higher up goes missing or is found dead. speaking of they should let us hide bodies in crates pits and what not the whole sneakikilling thing is wonky sometime it works other times bodies are found through walls or whatever weird case you can think of.

For some reason you can pick most groups off one by one if you want, around 3 to 4 goblins at a time...even if they are close by.. without hiding the bodies but the second i hide a body they somehow fined it lol but if i leave it in plane sight it gets ignored...

Or let say I have to walk around and alert every group myself cos i want a full base fight... the war drum is right there stupid AI use it!!

The whole thing need more polish... but i guess it's workable to a degree... some times goblins can't even open the door and they just stand there infront doing nothing when their buddies die one by one in the next room.
Even had spider attack goblins no clue why... i guess just cos i pushed two goblins into the pit to save one guy... looks like they taste good or something and the need more.

It's happening more in patch 9 for me. Just quicksave mid combat and reload, it's usually fixed. BTW, I prefer Halsin out of bear form, just love using call lightning every turn with him.
