Does the tiefling party is canceled if you moved to mountain pass ?

I forgot about the party and went to the mountain pass after the grymforge. I came back to the grove, did a long rest, and the party doesn't show. I'm on patch 8, in honor mode.

Do I have to start all over ?

I guess the party happened but you were a no-show. Why would you have to start over?

The grove is all empty, only Halsin is here to tell me to go to sleep so we can talk tomorrow. I won't be able to romance anyone ? :'(

Because I missed the first romance scene so maybe I won't have the second ? I won't able to recruit Halsin ? Will the tieflings side with me after in the end ? :'( I'm so upset

I don't think the party is required for the romance to trigger? I've gotten the Shadowheart first romance scene a lot of times before the party, for example. I'd say just keep playing and see if the romance still triggers.

I'd rather know before continuing, I really wanted to recruit Halsin and maybe romance him. I don't wanna waste more time if I have to start all over again :(

I've done Shadowheart's romance many times and have gotten the first scene before the party. That's all I can tell you.

I know at least some of the companion romances can be started later. But if they don't, then they don't.

I have to ask, why are you playing Honor Mode? The whole *point* of Honor Mode is that you just keep going, and whatever happens happens. If you don't want that, then yeah, start over. And not in Honor Mode.

I know but I want the achievement :D I am a complex control freak person. And Larian said the saves from patch 8 would be compatible with live, meaning I could unlock the achievement... But my control freakness is telling me to start all over again so I can have this tiefling party... Even though I'm level 7....

His romance can begin as late as Act 3. You do not need the party to romance him.

What about him....? You cannot romance him and Halsin both. But any companion can have their romance, if you have high enough approval, started in Act 1 without the party.
