I don't own the game, I just don't like it for some dumb reason, am I alone?
I feel the game is priced well but I'm still unable to pick it up, I know the game is good but I still just have qualms buying it. I've only heard good things, community praises it like they did Skyrim, I think it looks great, every box is checked for a avid gamer such as myself would ever have but then I look at the price and go. "Nah" Did AAA Studios break me so badly that price will limit me from picking up a good game even on sale? I think so and I didn't know where else to voice this...

I'm one of the few who played through all four cd's of The Legend of Dragoon... Maybe that is my issue, Maybe my mom was right and "Video games are just a phase" and I'm growing out of them 25yrs later lol. :RuneScapeguy:

Umm. I am 80. Started playing video games right after I retired at 53. I certainly have not "grown" out if it.

Some video games and hobbies in general, are not for everyone. There are some video games I have no interest in playing. Elden Ring and Cyberpunk is a couple. The theme of a game must appeal to me first off. And I happen to enjoy turn base combat.

This is one of a handful of games I’ve ever played worth more than the asking price.

I got a lot but none of them are AAA games. I have also heard that a lot, I've heard nothing but pros about this game.

Yeah you were my age when pc's just hit the market. I wonder what who dat they are pulling out of the military that will be big when I'm your age. That is if we can keep Sarah Conner alive till 2029 lol.
If you don't feel like it, don't buy it. Don't let stupid fomo ruin your days.

I mean your question seems really stupid, but as one who also suffer from lots of intellectual contradictions and try to find a "logical way" to escape them.
One should recognise that sometimes the only solution is a good knife.

It's a video game, not a lifestyle. It's meant to be entertaining. If it doesn't seem like you'd have fun with it, don't buy it. Do something real with your time instead. Go meet new people, pick up an instrument, build something with your hands, go to the gym, or any of the other million things that will make you a fuller, happier, and more interesting person.

Playing a video game is not on that list, so don't sweat it.

You got it wrong: this is not the Dragon Age Veilguard forums.

Elaborate? This could be taken several ways.

Ah the go touch grass statement. I respect it and will offer you my wisdom out of respect so stop reading here if you're not interested in a rant....

Reciting words of wisdom isn't actually possessing wisdom, just spreading the base level of enlightenment. Char development and hobby searching for a wholesome life experience isn't the pursuit to happiness. Looking inward and asking the tough questions is worth more then any sunset or fleeting feeling. Ask yourself why you think and feel a way and one day you won't feel the need for simple pleasures, your hard work will seem insignificant to the feeling of peace. This game causes me stress on my wishlist during my recreation and I seek to know why. Being interesting isn't important either, other people's opinions only matter if you let them and my family has the highest respects for me. I don't need to impress anyone or prove myself to myself.

I don't even like this game that much compared to other crpgs, think its massively overrated and it's still way more than worth the price.

Stop stalling and buy the game. And play it your way!

"Dumb joke" strikes me as the high-probability interpretation, though
That's not just a good game. For me and many others, that's the best game of the recent years and objectively it earned more prizes than any others. I would even go to say it's a piece of art.

Do yourself a favor and buy it, it's totally worth the price and you will have a great time exploring all its richness and possibilities.
