I thought it was something about cross-play being technically complicated?

Be honest op, if there was issues with patch on release, youd be qqing hard over Larian not taking their time with it.

And I expect at least one more stress test update.

i definitely don't want them to release it before its done...

i was wondering if there was something wrong with the patch in its current state, because it's taking them quite a while since the start of a stress test to give any further updates.

You know, 12 new subclasses is a big thing to get right. I expect to see updates and tweaks.

It is but less so from PC to Console and more so to do with Console to Console. PSN to Live does not play nice. it took Digital Extremes two years to implement Crossplay because of this.
mid to late april is hopefull, may is more likely. Time works diffrently over at Larian. Start a new game so u dont go crazy.

There is a special site where they tell the community everything. Everyone else knows about it which is why we don't discuss the spoilers here... Your invite to the site got lost in the mail. I could type out the site here but my fingers are now suddenly too tired to type any more then this word.

I'll probably say it again tomorrow too.

One day I'll be right and everyone's gonna marvel at my foresight.

I honestly would like them to have a big ole' checklist of things we know exists... each week they tick or untick (as another tick breaks 2+ other things) but we also aren't paying for these basically DLC-grade updates. So there's always mods until it comes out.
Larian doesn't rush out things. They have a tendency to take their time. Hence, they are still putting out 'patches' which are more akin to free DLC, long after the game hit the market. For my part, I don't feel they owe me a thing and will be grateful if they ever get the next patch out.

Testers keep finding bugs that need to get patched, which is a good thing tbh. Even if it takes longer to release.

Ha, good one. Larian doesnt rush? Their every game is released in a rushed state. They are great company, but stop elevating them so high. Every game was bug ridden upon release.

More likely they have a skeleton crew working on the update, and this progress is slow because it's a-lot of work for what is likely 1-3 people. Everyone else is working on the next big thing.
