Report a translation problem
If you rolled 7 first and then rolled 3 you will only have 7 as that was the higher value. If you rolled 10 then you will lose the 7 and keep the 10.
1. I have 2 Temp HP left of False Life after getting hit, casting it again does not increase my HP back to 7 Temp HP.
2. Sometimes when getting hit and losing all Temp HP, the buff still stays, so now I have the false life buff with +0 Temp HP, casting it again does nothing.
You can't tell me this is how it works in DnD.
