As a new player of BG3 I must ask, is there any way to start romance with her without siding with her? I play as extremely kind and helpful character, and I like the druids as much as I don't like Goblins. I don't want to be her ally yet I want to be her lover. Is there any way to have an access to her panties without being evil character?

Sure, you can loot the underwear off the corpse after you kill her.

That answer was funny, but you can romance her in Act 2/3 without siding with her in Act 1. (You're gonna need to KO her and recruit her later.)

Oh can I? I was deeply disappointed once I was told she could be romanced only if you literally become her dog. Its good to know. So I just knock her down at the goblin camp and then I can recruit her and eventually have shex?

Only in your final romance epilogue scene, and it just shows you waking up next to her, with you discussing having sex the night before.

And also, thats fine, Im more curious about the romance itself. Back to my question, if I KO her at the goblin camp, will I be able to recruit her and start a romance?

Yes.

There are other romances that do have Act 1 sex scenes, notably Lae'zel, but she won't, and you might not, consider it 'romance' (though it can develop into that later).

Someone told me that cutscenes can be fired manually with Script Extender, but I don't know the procedure.

That's a good move for a female Tav, since Minthara's set is the only decent underwear until Rivington

Can't run script extender. Some of them (romance cutscenes) I only ever saw on youtube.

But you CAN make them trigger with Debug Book (even on a Mac), and I believe Debug Book can also start or end any romance, it's just easier to do with Polyamory Mod. And once you do trigger a romance through that mod, the cutscene usually follows after your next LR.

Anyhoo, I do believe Debug Book can, even if you never sided with Minthara, still trigger (in any act) her Act 1 sexytimes scene (although I've never tried it, and I wonder if she would bolt after the scene, as she does normally.)

This is true. I wanted that consequence free gith bangin', and now Lae'zel told me she wants to hold me, and cuddle me. I wanted to make my intentions clear from the start, but there's no option to be up front about not wanting commitment. Well, I'm smarting now, lemme tell you. Save me, Minty.
