Stuck trying to get to the Temple of Baal.

Iknow I have to through the sewers to start with. I watched a video of a playthrough that wasn't helpful, because the path they took has apparently been patched out of my game. At this point I've cleaned out the undercity completely, but every path ends up at a dead end. I've been through it all twice.
Where do I go from here?

Thanks for replying so quickly everyone. Unfortunately, it's no help. I need advice from someone who's done this recently.
The most recent reply was dated in March of 2024. There have been several patches since then, and none of the paths I've seen are avilable now. The most recent one showed the sigil in backround while the party was interacting with the door. There is no door anywhere near that sigil now. Rats!

Nothing has changed. I've done it 2 months ago. First door is near the penitent (only merchant) in the sewers. Shoot the hanged corpses in front of it to open the door (there is an another way if you are a bad girl like I was). Go ahead and get ready to kick some butts. To enter the temple of Bhaal, you need to find an amulet which is located in Bhaal's crypt. To get access to the crypt, it's either you find the password (2 ways) or you get blood on your hands (which will eventually occur sooner or later).

There's frequently some confusion with players on first playthroughs about this. There's two locations related to Bhaal, both can be accessed right away (more-or-less), but if you don't know about their entrances or how to open them you will have a hard time both finding them and getting in.

Despite what the quest might imply, there's no time urgency to rescuing the kidnapped character. My advice would be to keep questing and don't worry about it. You'll be pointed in the right direction sooner or later.

OP : As Wuorg suggests if you have not done 1 of the 2 following quests, keep going and don't worry about entering the temple of Bhaal now. The game will lead you there eventually.

Investigate the Murders

Click "View" in the upper left of the Steam window, and then Screenshots. Should get you where you need to go.

Edit: Er, I guess it is "Recordings and Screenshots" now

The door you want to open, does it have a Fast Travel Waypoint close to it?
