Patch 8
Should I start a new game now considering I wanted to do only 1 more playthrough, or wait until patch 8 is out?

Lol. Exactly. I don't understand why anyone would ask such a question. Make your own decision OP, based on what "you" feel you want to do in order to enjoy the game.

The patch is not coming out for several weeks yet.

If you feel like playing this game now then do so. If you don't... well than would be a good opportunity to play after patch is released...

isn't it kinda self explanatory? i'm obviously wondering how much will the new patch affect the game and especially the beginning of it. So i'm asking is it worth waiting for it to come out instead of starting now? No need to be passive aggressive

We know as much about what the patch adds as you do, it's all in the game's news feed.

The only really major change for single player is going to be the new subclasses, though.
Unless you really care about Photo mode.

It's still a valid question. though and not in any shape or form passive aggressive. Since nobody but Larian can say how it'll affect the game whenever it launches, which may take a couple of months after the stress test concludes.

If you want to get an idea or alike, just read-up on CU#30, if you haven't and make your decision based on that. Will there be other changes outside of that? No one but Larian knows.

That being said, do you want to play as one of the new subclasses, you should probably wait. If you don't care about any of them, you could've started two hours ago.
