Karlach have an ending where you fix her heart yet?
Been waiting til they finish that to play again. If its not a thing they're going to do would prefer they remove the content that suggest you can.

There is no content that suggests you can fix the heart in-game. You get directly told you cannot fix her heart in Act 3 due to it being an outdated obsolete model.

The epilogue added for her has her finding information pointing to a stronghold of Zariel's that might have the plans, materials, and smith able to fix her heart. That's the closest it gets to being resolved.

What content suggests that you can? The quest ends with a revelation that you cannot. The next best thing is her going to Avernus and in the epilogue finding a way to an inferal forge.

Only literally.
I'll have to finish playing if only to see if it actually dispells the notion or if its just left in the air do to time constraints.
Was at the start of act 3 when my PC killed its self during a system reset which I might have seen coming in hindsight. Was doing it because the PC couldn't restart for what ever asinine reason, resetting it still calls for it to restart...

They originally had plans for that, which is clear from the useless items you find that have descriptions about "cold" and absorbing heat. But doing what Larian does best, they cut most if not all of the end game Act IV which was upper city and avernus (and stop lying Larian stans, they showed ads and interviews BEFORE release showing upper city and avernus, so yes that was 100% cut, so eat your lies) and just stopped the game in Act 3, thats why the story takes a nose dive and feels rushed, because it was.

Karlach is the reason i wont/cant play this game again. Bought it day one, romance Karlach (a MAJOR character) only to find out at the end she had NO good ending. So basically a game about how you can basically do anything just kinda goes "yeah sorry nothing you can do". If you are that lazy and incompetent to release the game without proper endings for major characters, then i want nothing to do with the game.

We can basically take on Gods but this one thing is apparently beyond us. Larian was just Greedy and released the game at least 2 years early in order to make money.

And NO 100,000+ bug fixes and multiple years of fixing and breaking the game isnt something to be proud of. Hell EVERY SINGLE Larian release has been a joke and we had to wait for "definitive editions" before the game actually worked properly. i mean can they even make an act 3 that works properly on release? So yeah no more buying Larian games till the definitive edition.

Meh. That is not a good reason to not play a Masterpiece of a game. And I consider her ending, if you choose to romance her and go with her to Avernus, a good ending.

I mean, you both appear to be happy and having fun and you are together. With optimism for the future.

Is that not the goal of being happy with the one you love?

Originally, there was no such option. Then they added the part of going with her to Avernus. Or Wyll can.

Honestly that they survive at all in Avernus I consider to be a pretty big ass pull. Two level 12 just don't live in the 9 hells in general let alone with an actual target on their back. Never mind the myriad of ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ what are even doing for food, water, and shelter?

Exactly. But they do in BG3. And without suffering much. Personally I don't care if anything in BG3 matches up or contradicts anything with table top BG. So the ending for me, is a good one for her.

Not mention they maybe can find friends there. Also Tav, Karlach And Wyll also able to go there 3some.

There is also a option where God Gale fix Karlach problem.

"NO 100,000+ bug fixes and multiple years of fixing and breaking the game isnt something to be proud of" <---- Game rarely have any bug.

"Larian was just Greedy and released the game at least 2 years early in order to make money." <--- If that true they would make the DLC and made alPatch 7 as a DLC... They don't because they don't want extra money for game you already pay money.

Karlach have proper ending. I Enjoyed my Karlach ending.

One of the worst parts about this, is they gave her an evil ending. Instead of that which doesn't even fit her character let us fix her heart. There are so many in universe ways of doing it. Also if Astarion's tadpole can let him walk in the light, and avoid all sorts of vampire issues. Then her heart being hot should be nothing.

Spoilers?

The Epilogue seems to show a suggestion of a possible fix for her infernal engine, finally offering some hope.

Was Larian planning on doing a DLC where she actually gets the updates from Zariel's soulforge and can return to the Prime Material? Maybe, we'll never know. They were considering some DLC and scrapped the idea.

Are the Avernus modders working on writing this themselves? Also dunno, have yet to see anything concrete on what they are working on.

I think going back to Avernus and being stuck there with either Wyll or Tav may be a less miserable fate than the ten years she spent there alone, but it's not the happiest ending, nor IMHO when she becomes a mind flayer either, though it saves her life (and possibly the world from the grand design).

Shielding Astarion from the sun is not the same as preventing Hellfire from consuming someone from the inside out.

Perfect example, expecting the tadpole to stop the Solar Lance from killing Astarion just because Astarion can walk in the sunlight. Same principle as Hellfire is much hotter than us being a planet millions of miles away from the sun.
