All I can say is that if that's how you interpret it, then this game is clearly not the best choice for you. I'm grateful that the game incorporates so many romantic scenes to make the characters more interesting, which I've only been able to experience in visual novel-type games before.
In many RPG games, you can only marry an NPC who may not have more than three conversations (I don’t understand why someone would want to marry an unfamiliar NPC)

There is no mod - at least not at any authorized site, including Nexus, don't know about the "dark web" - that lets you romance children. Even BG3 Sex Framework locks out use of child models. (As it should.)

LGBT people are no more intrinsically pedophilic than hetero folks, BTW; in fact, the most common form of pedophilic rape is usually by stepfathers on daughters or other female family members. Please don't spread such crap.

Also, I know this has been discussed to death 800 times, but a sentient druid in bear form is not committing "bestiality". (which isn't even depicted anyway).

Yeah that's all I can think when people call this a dating sim.

The only way I was able to get through them when my ex made me watch them all like over the course of a weekend was by getting assistance from one substance or another. The first one was tolerable, then they progressively got more and more asinine until suddenly they were a Shonen and I was locked back in lol.

Edit: and for the record, I get why they were popular with their fans and that when I saw them (as a man well into adulthood) I was very much NOT the intended demographic. Not trying to yuck anyone's yums here.
