I wish I knew a way to fix my run, I am on act 3 and saving is getting weird. A few mods updated and I added a duplication chest mod. At first if I tried to return to main menu the game would just close. That stopped and now saves don't always work (which is super annoying), I believe I get error code 222 (guessing save randomly gets corrupted). I have like 3 mods that I wish I could get rid of infinite scrolls, potions and arrows. Also maybe the one merchant having rare/unobtainable items. The infinite item mods say I need to reactivate them if I try to turn them off.

Some caveats. Many spells in the vanilla game have no scrolls; for example, all the Smite spells; this requires you use Secret Scrolls to acquire them. However, the Secret Scrolls at mod.io is busted and the icons are invisible; make sure you use the Nexus one, which is Patch 7 compatible.
That mod enables all vanilla classes and pretty much even their mod sub classes to learn from scrolls. However, mod classes will not benefit from it if their authors didn't make sure they can use scroll learning.
Right now, there are scrolls for 5E spells addon with mods- there's a 5E Secret Scrolls mod also - don't know its status but most mods these days use Mystra's instead of 5E (Nexus) - but there are no scrolls for any of Mystra's Spells, yet.
By far, the most useful thing about Secret Scrolls is it allows a lot of classes to learn the Smites. Your bard can learn Thundering Smite. Your warlock can learn Wrathful Smite (even if not a Hexblade). Your flame druid can learn Searing Smite. Etc. Unfortunately, there are no scrolls for the Mystra blade cantrips, BUT, you can acquire them through the Spell Sniper feat (if you have the mod).
