Didn't watch tga the almost all the chinese reviews were mad because sven mentioned sales or revenue not being important. I wouldn't be surprised if there's misunderstanding involved. But the pettiness of these reviewers are pretty hilarious. There are some reviews that even try to disguise as legitimate criticism.

China is a big country,surely there are some morons,but there are more people who see through things and know Baldur's Gate and Larian and Swen aren't the ones to be blamed.

From my point of view , the last 2 chapters of Black Myth WuKong are really not that great like most china players claim to be.

It has a decent start but as you progress to the end, tons of fillers in Chapter 5 and Chapter 6. It does not have the open-world elements which Baldur's Gate has.

Unlike Baldur's Gate 3, I can literally sink in for thousands of hours to experience different choices with different companions. Plus, can you Imagine Larian Studio provide constant free updates and new contents throughout the year after getting 2023 GOTY ?

Honestly speaking , Black Myth WuKong is fun with the combat , but the story-telling doesn't invoke heart-wrenching emotions to the players like how Baldur's Gate 3 did. The choices matters and it has a variety freedom of choices depending on your creativity.

I don't think review bombing a game that is a considered one of the greatest games of all-time in its genre is really going to effect anything. Might as well review bomb GTA VI while you're at it.
