Is there a cheaper way to get the game? {except piracy}
Hello! Is there a cheaper way to get Baldur's Gate 3 on steam? I'm finally convinced that the game is worth my time by it's depth in mechanics and story. The problem is that I'm unable to afford it at full price. After paying for my English exam I'm nearly broke, and now I will have to start saving for college. So is there a significantly cheaper way to get BG3 on Steam? Thanks in advance!

Wait for it to go on sale.

I paid $0.05/hour for this game, so I think it was a cheap entertainment overall.

Just wait another week for (likely) 20% off.

I recommend IsThereAnyDeal[isthereanydeal.com]. The site can import your Steam wishlist and automatically notify you when an item meets your notification criteria like price, price drop%, etc. At the moment, it looks like Steam and GOG are the only purchase options but the Steam Winter Sale is expected soon!

This is one of the cheapest games I have ever purchased based upon hours of entertainment. Just buy it as it is worth the cost many times over.

this game wont ever go under €40 because of the game i forgot why but i checked when i started play it just wont and yeah ur are kinda paying the price for what u get so its not over priced either in that way even if 40$ is much for a game but it brings alot more to the table then any $20 or $15 game

Get a job. With the current US rate of minimum wage, you could buy this game in a day or two of work.

Get a paper route. Won't cost you a penny, and after the few hours of work it'll take to make enough for the game, you can even keep working to make more. It's crazy.

I don't think paper routes are a thing anymore.

Wait 5 to 6 years for the next Larian game. Then this will get a little bit bigger discount!

There are a ton of places that sell this game cheaper than steam, just gotta google. At this point, like maybe 3 people I know actually bought this game here, out of the literal dozens of people I know who own it.

What do you mean?

He means get a job and buy the game, it's not expensive for the amount of hours you get out of it, compared to other forms of entertainment, e.g. going to pub. or buying an expensive meal that lasts 1 hour.

Or if you really don't want to pay full price, wait for it on sale. Probably be on sale i the winter sales on 19th dec.
