SH romance scene not triggering at all?
Context, this is my first playthrough, went for SH as I didn't know who to go for,got her wine scene in Act 1,but somehow my approval rating skyrocketed so much that I could barely ask her about herself as I just told her I respect her boundaries.

Act 2,tried giving her a flower but nothing,no dialogue whatsoever.
Now reached Act 3,did her quest and she is a selunite, still no romance scene.
Did I just cuck myself out of a romance scene in Act 3?
A friend mentioned that there is one shortly after starting Act 3 but nothing.

I'm just lost at this point.

I believe you need the wine scene with her to start the romance, so if you missed it you're out of luck AFAIK, even with high approval. Looks like your Tav is going to have to find contentment at Sharess' Caress.

I DID get her wine scene alongside the kiss which started the romance, she calls me lover everytime I start a conversation and can kiss her whenever I want,it's just this specific cutscene I heard about that's been bothering me for a while now.

LOL, I did a mental shortcut and read "forgot" instead of "for.got". I read that if you missed the night orchid it isn't supposed to mess anything up, so it might be you had too many other conversations/events queued up for camp long rests.

Maybe just try long resting a few times to see if it happens. I've done two romances with SH. One the romance scene triggered after several long rests and another after maybe two, so there's some randomness involved.

Sorry for the mental confusion there, not my best paragraphs ever lol

And I did try to spam long rests from a quicksave just to see and nothing so far...I did about 5-6 of them, not sure if there are more or whatever.

When in doubt, you can cheat romance in this game as well as combat.

Use the Polyamory mod, you can trigger or proceed any relationship you want to, and also more than one. If you don't like using cheat mods, there are romance guides at bg3.wiki, sometimes they can help you figure out what's going on - although it could be, yes, that you've already blown the romance.

Giving Shadowheart the flower is not part of the romance, actually. You can give her a flower if not romancing her, and you can romance her without giving her the flower. It is actually part of the secret "nightsong score" that decides whether (when left to her own choice) Shadowheart kills the Nightsong or frees her.

As to the Act 3 Shadowheart scene: I think you must be camped in Rivington (not the city), but I'm not 100% certain. Then you just long rest enough until you get the scene. But as always, it can be pre-empted by other scenes (Vlaakith, vampire attack, Aradin attack, etc.).

Also, you can't romance anyone else. If you did, that ends Shadowheart's romance.

I think you're right about having to be in Rivington. It seems like the scene hadn't been triggering for me until I went back to the circus after I heard about the secret area. I never made the connection.

I can find that out easily enough since this is exactly where I'm at on my current playthrough.

For me, Shadowheart final romance scene happened at Rivington camp the night following I spoke to her about her new hair color (it's where I received a proposition for a date the following night). I think this romance cutscene sometime mess up with Mizora event that also happen on the first long rest at Rivington camp. Lucky for me, I got both cutscenes one after the other.

I can confirm that the scene does not have to be in Rivington as I was able to trigger it in Lower City. Looks like OP might just have to get a mod at this point like Seeker suggested if something went wrong narratively or due to some random bugginess.

アンジェル probably want to say there is no connection between the circus and Shadowheart romance. That's true, I got this romance way before I went to the circus.

Yeah, I just meant having to take place in Rivington, but not due to the "love test" thing at the circus. As it turns out, I tested it out and it looks like the camp location doesn't matter.

Did a backup save just in case, tested the mod and it crashed my game lol
