Make sure to update *all* the mods you're using to versions that work with the most recent patch, before attempting to load any modded savegame.
If no such new version of the mod exists then wait patiently for the mod author to make it, or start over in a new save without using that mod.
I'm literally only running a few mods, what do you have "while running so many?"
I've updated them to no avail. Based on what I've researched I'm not sure it's the mods causing the problem, though it likely is.
If this is a game like BG1/2 that has been stable for many years, that's fine. But a game that has only been released for a few months and keeps rolling out patches? Play mods at your own risk.
You using such intrusive mods... you are on your own to consult the mods authors for mods related issues.
People are indeed experiencing bugs on their level-up even if they don't use mods.
So, let's talk about the good answer: Mods are dangerous, but I don't particularly experience troubles with my games about leveling up my character. Is it that hard to answer and to give some warning at the same time ?
